Benefactor Brunch September 23, 2011

The Benefactor Brunch was wonderful. About 70 guests poured into the dining room at 11:15 and sat at tables decorated in gold, with centerpieces of beautiful mums. After the salad course, Joanne Rodland gave us some of the history of the West Side Concert Series (formerly WS Patron Series) and Dick Curtin spoke about becoming a benefactor and ways that members could become more involved in the Series. Chef Gene Rogers and his helpers then served the main course, Chicken Divan. We were all entertained by songs sung by Deborah Holden Holloway and Kristine DiMauro, accompanied on the piano by Linda Sweetman Waters . (the theme being fairy god mothers/fathers) Lynn Curtin presented the 2011-12 program. We ended our meal with cookies, ice cream and coffee. Many thanks to all who helped and to all who attended. We hope to see you all again soon.
