The Yale Whiffenpoofs, the world's oldest and most renowned collegiate a cappella group, invite you to a night of jazz, oldies, classic rock, and everything in between. The "Whiffs" have sung for royalty, U.S. presidents, and TV hosts alike, and on October 6th, they aim to add you to the list!

Grace Browning, Solo Harp

The West Side Concert Series is excited to welcome Grace Browning, principal harpist with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, to West Side Presbyterian Church. As a soloist, her most notable performances include concertos with the Pacific Symphony, New World Symphony and the National Repertory Orchestra. In 2015, she was a winner of the Young Texas Artists Music Competition and the Aspen Music Festival Harp Concerto Competition.

The Tononi Trio

In 2009, three outstanding and widely experienced musicians joined together to create the Tononi Trioan ensemble that has captivated audiences with performances of both traditional and contemporary repertoire, as well as lesser known works by 19th century female composers like Clara Schumann and Fannie Mendelssohn. The program for the concert will include trios by Beethoven, Rachmaninoff and Brahms.

Angie Zhang, Piano

Ms. Zhang holds both Bachelor and Masters degrees from Julliard, where she was a rare two-time winner of their Concerto Prize, and, at 23, has performed nearly two dozen concertos with orchestra. The program for this exciting concert will feature the beautiful Sonata 1905 by Balakirev and other works chosen by the artist.
